Secondary packaging describes larger packages that are used to transport your goods in bulk. An example of secondary packaging would be a set of plastic rings that hold a six-pack of cans together. Though the actual content (the soda) is in the can, the secondary packaging helps hold the primary packaging together. Another example would be a box that holds a set of 100 pasta boxes. Secondary packaging is used to hold larger sets of shipments.
